A light and flexible fabric layer on the side wall makes the tire resistant against possible side injuries.
It is a compound that fills many gaps. It belongs to the world of Enduro and Downhill as well as All Mountain and Trailriding. It also shines in wetsuits - more speed: Soft front, SpeedGrip rear. Or more cushioning: Ultra Soft at the front, Soft at the back. Rolls very well and inspires with its good damping. It's ADDIX Soft. Schwalbe fished in the tire manufacturers' suggestion box to combine the two. The result is a compound that is incredibly fun to ride. And it's much more durable than the previous TrailStar compound. Tip: ADDIX Soft is also ideal for E-MTB. It plays to its strengths "a lot of damping and good grip" all year round thanks to its optimized cold resistance characteristics!
The new standard for all Schwalbe Evolution MTB tyres. The new monofilament side fabric outperforms the old SnakeSkin fabric three times: even more cut resistance, more puncture resistance and above all: it makes tubeless conversion extremely easy and safe! The use of sealing liquid is necessary, but the installation is just as easy as with real tubeless tires. With Tubeless Easy, long conversion processes where you have to shake and always re-inflate are a thing of the past.
Recommended for pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h. There is no legal obligation to use a certain type of tire but the average speeds and stresses for the tires are often higher than would be the case with a normal bicycle.
A patented carcass construction. The four-ply carcass ply makes the sidewall stable and secure. The tread remains extremely flexible and grippy with two carcass plies. The all-over SnakeSkin provides excellent cut protection. All tires are Tubeless Easy. You don't need an inner tube anymore.
