SmartGRIP rubber compound

The SmartGRIP Compound is an innovative formulation developed by Pirelli, based on decades of success in motocross and rallying. This rubber compound combines opposing characteristics to deliver optimum performance:

• Tear resistance, ensuring maximum mechanical adhesion on dry and wet surfaces, while providing enhanced protection against punctures.
• Chemical grip on wet ground, ensuring confident driving whatever the weather conditions.

The SmartGRIP Compound ensures consistent performance, whether the terrain is dry or wet, throughout the life of the tire, even when the studs begin to wear.

ProWALL Envelope

The ProWALL casing is equipped with reinforced side protection, which improves puncture resistance and ensures better handling at low pressure. The sidewall of the tyre is reinforced with an additional layer of nylon, increasing resistance to cuts and penetrations, while stabilizing the tire at low pressure. This casing is a robust option for XC racing, as well as trail riding and enduro.
