Maxxis Assegai 29x2.50WT: a versatile mountain bike tire for varied terrain

A 29-inch mountain bike tire for trail and enduro riding

The Maxxis Assegai 29x2.50WT 3C MaxxTerra EXO Tubeless Ready mountain bike tire combines the clearance of a 29-inch wheel with the high-grip tread pattern designed for Greg Minnaar. It offers a smooth transition between the different knob zones to maintain control as the gradient increases.

The 3C MaxxTerra compound provides high grip with more moderate wear and rolling resistance than MaxxGrip. The 60 TPI casing and EXO protection make for a versatile setup for Trail and Enduro riding.

The Wide Trail profile is optimized for a 35mm internal width rim and is Tubeless Ready compatible.

29-inch format

The 29-inch diameter makes it easier to overcome obstacles and is suitable for bikes compatible with the ETRTO 63-622 dimension.

3C MaxxTerra

The intermediate compound combines several rubbers to provide support in the center and grip on the lateral contact areas.

EXO Protection

The EXO fabric protects the sidewalls against cuts and abrasion without turning the tire into a heavy downhill carcass.
