When every gram counts on the climbs, the Keo Blade Ceramic Ti makes the difference. LOOK combines its best solutions here: a titanium axle, ceramic bearings and a carbon retention blade, which the manufacturer claims is 20% lighter than a metal spring. The result: 95 g per pedal, 190 g per pair and 260 g with cleats, with no sacrifice in contact area.
It's a real dilemma for riders on high-end kit. The Ti is LOOK's lightest road pedal, at 95 g with a 14.8 mm stack. The Keo Blade Power integrates a power meter, but weighs 130 g and raises the foot to 17.1 mm. If you already have a crank-based power meter or don't train with watts, the Ti remains the purest choice. Compared with the standard Ceramic, only the axle changes, saving 20 g per pedal.
A titanium axle deserves careful fitting: clean crank threads, suitable grease or assembly paste, and remember that the left pedal is reverse-threaded. The standard 12 blade can be replaced with a 16 or a 20 if you sprint hard, using the Keo Blade blade kits, which are compatible with this version.
