Technology

Large width and support surface

For more efficient and more comfortable pedalling, the Keo 2 Max has a support surface 12% larger than the Carbon Keo. In order to further improve the transmission of effort and the life of the pedal, this surface is made of stainless steel overmoulded in the pedal body.

Lightweight

With its 130 grams, the Kéo 2 Max is one of the lightest pedals in its category. This has been possible thanks to the use of composite materials which saves weight without compromising strength.

High reliability

Particular attention has been paid to reliability: its injected carbon body, its stainless steel support surface and its oversize double sealed axle make this pedal a very reliable and durable product.

The new axis line of the Kéo 2 Max makes it possible to maintain the height of support while using an oversize steel axis. It is made up of a miniature ball bearing (12 mm inside x 18 mm outside) and a needle bearing. LOOK axles are only validated after a rotation test of 2 million cycles at 100 rpm with a load of 90 kg on the center of the pedal and eccentric rotation (which creates a shock at each revolution). This test is much higher than the current standard: EN14781. A double sealing ensures a high longevity.
