Repente Prime 3.0 Saddle

For comfortable and efficient pedaling, the Repente Prime 3.0 saddle is available in 132 and 142 mm versions. The shape, based on anatomical and ergonomic studies, offers the necessary support at strategic points, for comfortable and efficient pedaling. Every detail of Prime 3.0 has been designed to increase your performance.

The shape of the rear of the saddle has been designed to provide an even contact patch. Repente's R&D has focused on avoiding any obstacles to the free movement of the hip joint during pedal descent, thereby creating leverage for the rider in terms of comfort and thrust efficiency ( ERGO SHAPE).

• The central anatomical canal has been made even wider.
• The thickness of the padding layer has been increased across the entire saddle surface. To ensure a more comfortable sitting position on uneven terrain and over long distances, EVA material, highly adapted for its lightness and shock absorption properties, was used for the padding.
• The end of the Prime 3.0 has a thicker layer of padding with a square-shaped cross-section to provide the best support when moving forward along the saddle.

The saddle's graphics, minimalist and elegant, combine design and functionality. The sides of the mid-front feature a graphic pattern in glossy paint, which has the effect of reducing friction on the inner thighs.

The differential section of the rail is made of T700 unidirectional carbon fiber.

The material used for the saddle support structure is PA12 polyurethane, reinforced with LCF technology: instead of simple carbon fiber "hatches", longer carbon fibers are added to the resin which, thanks to a special injection process, are arranged to match the longitudinal flow of the material, until forming a kind of weaving that increases the resistance of the structure. As demonstrated by the tests carried out, this technology minimizes the risk of hull deformation.

Repente has also applied its proprietary RLS coverage replacement technology to Prime 3.0.

The Repente saddle cover is made of non-slip water-based PU, already used with excellent results in other Repente models, notably Quasar. This solution allows the athlete to adopt the best position on the bike throughout the session without limiting the necessary movements.
