CUSTOM ZONAL CUSHIONING

The evolution of digital 3D printing has allowed us to develop a new saddle without the constraints of traditional production methods and materials. The Adaptive saddle padding is made by Carbon® using their revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis™ technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process that uses digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution, and surface finish.

LABORATORY TESTED, ROAD PROVEN

With Carbon technology, biomechanists and engineers have the unprecedented ability to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, each separately tuned for specific mechanical properties. Each key functional area is designed to provide distinctive cushioning and mechanical response, brought together progressively and seamlessly in the same padding. The result ? A 60% reduction in maximum pressure thanks to better weight distribution for increased comfort across the entire saddle surface.

ALL DAY COMFORT

Aliante is a wavy profile saddle with a gradual, tapering transition from fender to nose. With a slightly wider platform to support the ischial bones, it improves stability and weight distribution for all-day rides. With a focus on comfort, the new Aliante has a flatter surface allowing for more evenly distributed pressure and a balanced feel, particularly useful during extended endurance rides.

LESS PRESSURE = LONGER RIDES

The Aliante's 3D-printed Adaptive padding was designed to provide every rider with the right support, regardless of riding position, for long days on the bike. The unique properties of our Adaptive technology allow us to design thicker padding with a softer central functional area, instead of a cutout, increasing the surface area of the saddle to better distribute pressure, improving comfort over long distances . The Fizik Aliante R1 Adaptive saddle saves weight with a newly designed 7x9mm carbon rail.
