THE Amflow TL Carbon is a full-suspension carbon electric bike designed for cyclists looking for a single bike capable of covering many uses: long rides, paths, forest tracks, sporting outings, daily commutes or trips with luggage.
It combines a full carbon frame, the engine Avinox M2 developing up to 125 Nm of torque, a removable 800 Wh battery and FOX suspensions offering 120 mm of travel at the front and 105 mm at the rear. In addition, it comes with a particularly complete set of equipment including lights, mudguards, rear luggage rack, kickstand and telescopic seat post.
But what does 125 Nm actually represent? What range can you expect from an 800 Wh battery? What are the 120/105 mm suspension components used for? And which size should you choose? At LVR Cycles, We wanted to make this information sheet understandable even if you are buying your first electric bike.

The TL Carbon is particularly interesting if you are looking for a comfortable and versatile electric bike rather than a pure enduro e-MTB. Its relatively upright riding position, suspension, removable battery and Touring equipment allow it to be used in many more situations than a traditional sporty e-MTB.
Also pay attention to the choice of size. Unlike several other mountain bikes in the Amflow range that are offered in more sizes, the TL Carbon is available in only two frame sizes: S/M and L/XL.
This design allows it to cover a wide range of body types with just two sizes. Your height remains the primary guide, but your inseam, your usual riding position, and your riding preferences can also influence your choice.
Are you around 175 cm tall ? You are at the transition between the two sizes. In this case, contact LVR Cycles Before placing your order, please provide your height, inseam measurement, and, if possible, the model and size of your current bicycle. We can then help you determine the most suitable configuration.
| ⚡ 125 Nm A significant reserve of torque for climbs, restarts and busy routes. | 800 Wh removable Large capacity with an easily removable battery for recharging. | ↕ 120 / 105 mm FOX suspensions designed to provide comfort, grip, and control. | Touring Equipment Luggage rack, lights, mudguards and kickstand are already installed. |
The TL Carbon can be considered a premium electric SUV bike. It incorporates some features of an e-MTB – carbon frame, powerful motor, full suspension, telescopic seat post and four-piston brakes – but combines them with the equipment and comfort of a touring bike.
It is therefore a particularly attractive solution if you wish to use the same bicycle for go hiking on the weekend, take to the trails, make your daily commute or travel with luggage.
For a beginner, its appeal also lies in its level of equipment: it is not necessary to immediately transform the bike after purchase to have a truly versatile package.
The engine Avinox M2 This is one of the main selling points of the TL Carbon. It delivers up to 125 Nm of torque and Amflow announces a power output of up to 1100 W peak, for a regulatory nominal power of 250 W.
If you are new to electric bikes, the couple This simply represents the force the motor can transmit to help you move forward. The higher this value, the more resources the motor has when the situation becomes demanding: steep climb, restarting on an incline, difficult terrain or a loaded bicycle.
125 Nm does not mean that the bike constantly develops this force. The system adapts the assistance level according to the chosen mode, your effort, and the riding conditions. This allows you to ride comfortably on flat terrain while maintaining a significant power reserve when needed.
The system is controlled from a Avinox DPC100 2-inch OLED screen combined with two wireless controls installed on the handlebars.
The TL Carbon receives a Avinox RS800 800 Wh battery. It is removable, allowing it to be detached for charging independently of the bicycle. This is particularly convenient when the bicycle is stored in a garage or other room without a nearby electrical outlet.
Amflow announces up to 172 km range with this battery. However, it is important to understand this value: it was obtained on a flat road, in Eco mode, with an 80 kg cyclist riding at approximately 21 km/h.
Therefore, there is no single, truly autonomous system. Consumption depends in particular on the level of assistance, the weight of the cyclist, the load, the elevation change, the terrain, the wind, the temperature, the tires and your pedaling style.
A very hilly hike undertaken with significant assistance will naturally consume much more energy than a ride on a greenway in Eco mode. LVR Cycles, Therefore, we prefer to explain these differences rather than promise a number of kilometers that is impossible to guarantee.
For very long distances, a Avinox 480 Wh secondary battery can supplement the main battery to reach up to 1280 Wh total capacity.
With the Avinox 168W charger, Amflow announces approximately:
An Avinox 508W fast charger also helps reduce these times to approximately 1 hour 36 minutes to reach 80% And 2 hours 25 minutes for a full recharge of the RS800 battery.
The TL Carbon is a bike fully suspended. The fork FOX AWL Sport has 120 mm of travel, while the rear offers 105 mm with a shock absorber FOX FLOAT Rhythm.
Travel represents the distance the suspension can work over to absorb bumps and irregularities. Here, Amflow is looking more for a balance between comfort, grip, control and performance than the behavior of a pure enduro bike.
On a rough road, a forest track, or a trail with roots and stones, suspension reduces shocks transmitted to the cyclist and helps the wheels maintain contact with the ground. When the bike is carrying luggage, it also helps stabilize the load.
The TL Carbon receives a TRP electronic rear derailleur E.A.S.I. RD-T7010E-L paired with a 10-speed 11-43 tooth cassette.
Unlike a mechanical derailleur operated by a cable, gear changes here are managed electronically. The system SmoothShift works with the Avinox engine to coordinate gear changes and the power delivered by the engine.
In practical terms, the system can intelligently reduce torque during gear changes to make gear changes smoother and limit stress on the transmission.
The TL Carbon is equipped with Tektro TKD173 four-piston hydraulic brakes combined with 180 mm discs. This architecture provides the braking power necessary for an electric bike that can also be used with a heavy load.
The original wheels are Amflow HTA-25 in 27.5 inches with tires Maxxis Crossmark II 27.5 x 2.35. The 27.5" size particularly enhances handling and facilitates changes of direction.
The TL Carbon, however, offers an interesting feature: it can be configured as 27.5", 29", mullet or reverse mullet setup according to Amflow recommendations. This allows you to better adapt your behavior to the terrain and your practice.
One of the main advantages of the TL Carbon is that many accessories usually added after purchase are already included.
The TL Carbon can support up to 200 kg total mass, bicycle, cyclist and cargo included. Amflow indicates up to 20 kg on the front luggage rack And 27 kg on the rear rack.
Yes. Despite its advanced technology, progressive assistance, suspension, and comprehensive equipment, it can be used even by experienced riders. However, choosing the right size and making the initial adjustments are still important.
Amflow advertises a range of up to 172 km in its Eco test protocol. In real-world use, the range depends heavily on elevation gain, assistance level, terrain, weight, and weather conditions.
Yes. This value provides a particularly large torque reserve for climbing, starting, and riding with a load. The motor nevertheless adapts its power to your pedaling and the selected assistance mode.
Yes. The Avinox RS800 battery can be removed from the bike to facilitate charging, replacement or storage.
Yes. A secondary Avinox 480 Wh battery allows the total capacity to reach up to 1280 Wh when combined with the main 800 Wh battery.
Yes. The TL Carbon accepts different 27.5" and 29" wheel configurations, including mixed setups, in accordance with Amflow technical recommendations.
Unlike several other mountain bikes in the Amflow lineup, the TL Carbon is offered in only two sizes: S/M and L/XL.
As a guide, the size S/M covers approximately 155 to 175 cm, while the size L/XL covers approximately 175 to 190 cm. If you are around 175 cm tall, your inseam and usual posture become particularly important in distinguishing between the two sizes. LVR Cycles can advise you before you place your order.
For us, the main interest of Amflow TL Carbon does not reside solely in the 125 Nm of the Avinox engine. It is above all the coherence and versatility of the whole which make it interesting.
Amflow combines a powerful motor, a large removable battery, a carbon frame, FOX suspension and genuine Touring equipment in a bike capable of covering very different uses.
We would particularly recommend it to cyclists who don't want to own multiple bikes and are looking for a model that performs equally well a weekend hike, outings on trails, daily commutes, or a trip with luggage.
If your goal is exclusively aggressive enduro or downhill riding, an e-MTB with more travel will be more suitable. However, for versatile use combining touring, trekking, trails, and everyday riding, the TL Carbon makes a lot of sense in our opinion.
Amflow bikes can be in particularly high demand depending on the time of year and the configuration.
When a bicycle is not immediately available but an arrival date is known, the Pre-ordering allows you to secure the desired model and size. without waiting for it to be physically stocked.
Contact LVR Cycles before your order in case of doubt about the size or to find out about upcoming arrivals.
