220 tpi cotton is the traditional material for high quality tubular racing tires. Vittoria produces its best quality natural cotton casings for premium road and track tubular tires - in all sizes. The material is spun from tightly woven fine yarns for a soft and flexible carcass, and incredibly grippy thanks to its larger contact patch on the road. This means more comfort, as even the smallest impacts are better absorbed, and allows more speed thanks to reduced rolling resistance.
