The Shimano RC810 Fishing shoes combine performance-oriented construction with a particularly distinctive color scheme. Designed for demanding cyclists, they incorporate several technologies developed for the S-PHYRE range to offer efficient pedaling, precise support, and comfort suitable for long rides.
This new generation relies in particular on the SHIMANO DYNALAST 2.0 fit, a rigid carbon midsole and a BOA Li2 dual dial closure system.
With DYNALAST 2.0 , Shimano has redesigned the shoe to offer more volume in the toe box. This allows the foot to maintain a more natural position while pedaling, without sacrificing the support needed during sustained efforts.
Depending on the available sizes, the RC810 is offered in narrow, standard, or wide widths . This makes it possible to choose the shoe volume that truly corresponds to the morphology of the foot.
The two BOA Li2 dials allow for precise adjustment of the fit across different areas of the foot. The wraparound upper complements this system to distribute support evenly and minimize pressure points.
At the rear, the external heel stabilizer helps to keep the foot in place when power increases, particularly during accelerations, sprints or standing up on the pedals.
The RC810 features a stiff, hollow-structure carbon midsole . Its design promotes power transfer to the pedal while incorporating openings for ventilation and water drainage.
The low build height also brings the foot closer to the pedal to provide a direct and precise pedaling feel.
The RC810 features the new Shimano SPD-SLR interface, with an extended cleat adjustment range. This gives the rider more options to adapt their position to their body shape and riding position.
Cleat adjustment remains particularly important with a rigid shoe: a properly adapted position contributes to the comfort and stability of the foot during pedaling.
The new DYNALAST 2.0 fit already provides more room in the forefoot in the Standard version. The Narrow and Wide versions then allow for a more precise adjustment of the shoe's volume to fit narrower or wider feet.
LVR Cycles tip: first choose your usual shoe size, then adjust the width to fit the shape of your foot. Avoid systematically choosing a larger size simply to gain width.
