Neither the surface nor the weather conditions can discourage you: the ERC endurance wheels allow you to drive fast with absolute stability. The new optimized AERO+ rim profiles allow the mounting of wider and more comfortable tires. The secret weapon of these wheels: the ultra-low friction SINC Ceramic bearings inside the hub and the latest generation of DT Swiss Aero spokes. Plus, the proven Ratchet EXP freewheel system with its 36-tooth sprockets optimizes every pedal stroke and propels you at high speed from start to finish.
DT Swiss ERC 1100 DICUT 35 : this wheel will be your unfailing companion, especially in demanding mountainous terrain. Lightweight, low-profile rims with optimized aerodynamic qualities offer remarkable agility.
Front: 636 grams
Rear: 762 grams
The pair: 1398 grams
The perfect symbiosis between drag, handling and efficiency. To achieve this, the Swiss Side engineering team focused on four aerodynamic improvements: form drag, turning drag, steering torque and rolling resistance.
Tubeless Ready simply allows you to benefit from exceptional performance similar to tubulars with the addition of preventive to avoid punctures. The choice is yours to mount your new DT Swiss wheels tubeless or tubeless.
The art of designing a durable hub with minimal play lies in the proper preloading of the bearings. Most bicycle hubs are fitted with radial bearings, which are sensitive to lateral forces. Hubs with a clearance adjustment system usually have a fine thread. They allow precise clearance adjustment, but can also generate high axial forces. Quickly subjected to excessive preload, the bearings are then damaged. With many years of experience in optimal bearing preload and knowledge of manufacturing tolerances, DT Swiss is able to design long-lasting, play-free hubs without bearing play adjustment. This design of the hubs also makes it possible to gain in lightness thanks to the absence of threads, which results in a thinner wall. Last but not least: ease of maintenance and quick adaptation to different freewheel bodies and axle systems.
This bearing technology appears in all DT Swiss hubs, front and rear.
DT Swiss has not only improved the reliability but also the weight on the Ratchet EXP. The merging of the toothed crown and the threaded ring reduces the number of components and therefore the weight of the system, which represents a major advantage for ultra-light carbon wheels.
