With 800 Wh housed in the frame, this Trek Verve+ 3 carries the largest battery offered on the model. It keeps the 75 Nm Bosch Performance Line motor, the Shimano CUES drivetrain and all the commuting equipment, for 27.29 kg in size M according to Trek. This Matte Trek Black colour, an all-over matt black, is offered in XL.

Who is it for?

For the tall rider who heads out for the day: a loop to Sérignan and the seaside, or up the Canal du Midi to the Fonseranes locks and beyond. It is also aimed at anyone who lives far from work and only wants to charge once or twice a week.

The LVR workshop view

The Verve+ 3, the standard-frame version of the 3rd-generation Verve+. Its Alpha Smooth aluminium frame hides the battery completely in the down tube, from where it is removed for charging, and a Motor Armour plate protects the Bosch Performance Line motor under the bottom bracket. This non-Lowstep frame is aimed at riders who have no trouble swinging a leg over a bike and prefer a more classic line.

In other words: the Verve+ 3 brings together the 75 Nm Bosch motor, an integrated battery with a choice of 545 or 800 Wh, and all the commuting equipment. Trek quotes 27.29 kg in M: this is a stable, composed bike rather than one for carrying up stairs.

The Bosch smart system manages the motor, battery and Purion 200 control; it links to the Bosch Flow app so you can track your rides and receive updates. With 800 Wh, you can keep a strong assistance mode into the wind without cutting the ride short.

The rear rack takes up to 25 kg according to Trek: enough to carry a picnic, waterproofs and a lock for a full day out. The 75 Nm motor makes up for the load on climbs, and the 11-36 cassette keeps your cadence smooth.
