For the rider who covers a significant distance between home and work every day, from the coastal towns or the hinterland for example, and doesn't want to plug the bike in every evening. It also suits anyone who wants one bike for the working week and long weekend rides.
CUES Linkglide and 600 Wh, the long-distance duo. The Inbound+ 2 R10 is the top of the family. Its PowerTube battery goes up to 600 Wh and its Shimano CUES drivetrain lines up ten gears using Linkglide technology: thicker teeth, a reinforced LG500 chain and smooth shifting even under load. The straight Alpha Smooth aluminium frame is the same as on the other versions.
| Shimano CUES, 10-speed (R10) | Shimano ESSA, 8-speed (R8) | Gates belt, 1-speed (B) | |
| How it works | Linkglide, 10 gears | Derailleur, 8 gears | Belt, single ratio |
| Maintenance | Parts built to last | Standard chain maintenance | Almost nothing to do |
| Straight-frame version | 22.60 kg (L), 600 Wh | 21.50 kg (L), 360 Wh | 20.70 kg (L), 360 Wh |
| What it means | Range and gears for touring | Versatile, lighter battery | Urban simplicity |
In short: 240 Wh and two more gears than the Inbound+ 2 R8, for an extra 1.10 kg (22.60 kg in L). It's the Inbound+ to choose if your journeys are long or hilly, or if you want to charge less often.
With 600 Wh, the battery offers a much larger reserve than the 360 Wh of the B and R8 versions. We don't give a range figure, as it depends on terrain, wind, your weight and the mode chosen. Just remember that you'll charge less often, and that a battery you avoid draining completely ages more slowly.
The Shimano CUES drivetrain uses Linkglide sprockets and chain that are thicker than usual: they resist wear better, a real asset for a bike that does a lot of miles. The ten gears cover a wide range, from pulling away on a hill to cruising at 25 km/h, the speed at which the assistance stops.
| Model | Motor / battery | Drivetrain | Frame | Weight (size) |
| Inbound+ 2 R8 | Bosch hub 45 Nm / 360 Wh | Shimano ESSA 8-speed | Straight | 21.50 kg (L) |
| Inbound+ 2 R10 | Bosch hub 45 Nm / 600 Wh | Shimano CUES 10-speed | Straight | 22.60 kg (L) |
| Inbound+ 2 B 540 | Bosch hub 45 Nm / 540 Wh | Gates belt, 1-speed | Straight | 21.60 kg (L) |
| Inbound+ 2 R10 LS | Bosch hub 45 Nm / 600 Wh | Shimano CUES 10-speed | Lowstep | 22.40 kg (M) |
Our take: 1.10 kg more than the R8 (21.50 kg in L), but 240 Wh and two extra gears: on a long daily commute, the balance tips clearly towards the R10. Only a short, flat route justifies going back to the belt-drive version.

LVR sizing advice The straight frame covers 155 to 203 cm in three sizes. For long rides, the L and XL, with their 110 mm stem, distribute weight better between saddle and bar; the M remains the most nimble in town with its 70 mm stem.

| How long does charging take? | It depends on the charger supplied; we explain it when you collect the bike. |
| Should I always charge it fully? | Not necessarily for everyday use; a full charge is useful before a long ride. |
| Is the CUES drivetrain durable? | Yes, its Linkglide parts are designed to wear more slowly. |
| Is the beige pale? | Yes, a very light sandy beige, almost cream. |
|
The LVR Cycles verdict The Inbound+ for high-mileage everyday riders, with the biggest battery and the most durable drivetrain in the family. Its sandy beige brings a soft touch to a very efficient bike.
