Trek Verve+ 2 Trek Black: 75 Nm for the everyday commute

The latest-generation Trek Verve+ 2 gets the 75 Nm Bosch Performance Line motor and a 400 Wh Bosch CompactTube battery housed in the frame. Suspension fork, suspension seatpost, wide mudguards and MIK-compatible rear rack come fitted as standard, for 26.10 kg in size L according to Trek. Trek Black is a classic black.

Who is it for?

For the commuter who has no trouble stepping over a classic frame and wants a sturdy, simple, understated electric bike for getting to work, doing the shopping and riding at the weekend. It is offered in M and L.

The 3rd-generation Verve+ 2: Bosch torque in a clean frame. The Alpha Smooth aluminium frame with a classic step-over houses a 400 Wh Bosch CompactTube battery in the down tube and the 75 Nm Performance Line motor at the bottom bracket. Up front, a one-piece bar and stem carries the headlight mount and keeps the front of the bike tidy.

In other words: the Verve+ 2 gives you access to the 75 Nm Bosch motor and the smart system with a compact 400 Wh battery, for 26.10 kg in L according to Trek. It is the simplest of the powerful Verve+ models in the range.

The 75 Nm Performance Line motor, shared with the Verve+ 3 and 4, is the torquiest in the Verve+ family: it handles pulling away at the lights and short climbs with confidence. The Bosch smart system links to the Bosch Flow app so you can track your journeys and install updates.

The wide SKS mudguards cover the 2.00-inch Bontrager H2 Comp tyres well and protect your trousers and shoes on wet days. The integrated bar and stem carries the headlight mount, keeping the front of the bike neat with no DIY fixes.

LVR sizing advice

The Verve+ 2 is offered in M (160 to 180 cm) and L (180 to 200 cm) according to Trek. The integrated bar and stem can't be adjusted like a conventional stem: if you are on the border between two sizes, come and try the position in store.
