The Mondraker Summum R Mullet 2026 is a downhill mountain bike designed for competition and aggressive DH riding. Developed using World Cup technologies, it embodies Mondraker 's approach to performance, suspension kinematics, and optimized handling in extreme conditions. Positioned as a downhill racing-oriented model, it benefits from development directly linked to the experience of the Mondraker Factory DH team.
Forged on the most demanding World Cup tracks, the Summum was designed as a tool for downhill speed. It features DH-specific Forward Geometry, a revised Zero Suspension System kinematic, and a redesigned Stealth Alloy frame to improve stiffness, suspension sensitivity, and overall bike precision.
The Summum represents Mondraker 's passion for technology, competition, and downhill. The first type of bike produced by the brand, it has become the most successful racing model in the range.
Developed using advanced design techniques and tested on World Cup tracks, this new Summum was built and validated with the Mondraker Factory DH team.
The model incorporates a completely redesigned Zero Suspension System kinematic, offering better mid-stroke support and more sensitive suspension at the beginning of the travel, for faster and more precise handling.
The geometry incorporates an extended reach and a more open head angle, directly inspired by the configurations used in the World Cup.
The development of the Summum is based on direct feedback collected by the MFR DH team over the course of competition seasons.
The frame allows up to 27 configurations thanks to adjustable headset cups, lower shock flip chip and adjustable rear dropouts.
Three positions available: standard and +/-5 mm.
Lower flip chip allowing adjustment of the bottom bracket height of +/-5 mm and the steering angle of +/-0.35°.
+/-5 mm adjustment allowing rear base lengths of 450 mm or 460 mm from a standard base of 455 mm.
Frame made from Stealth Alloy with tube profiles optimized for stiffness and controlled tolerances. The design was completely redesigned after development and testing of prototypes by the MFR DH team.
Standardized bearing dimensions at all pivot points, specific hardware and rubber seals ensuring better protection against external elements.
Guided internal routing system facilitating installation and reducing background noise.
Redesigned rubber protectors on the chainstays, downtube, and bottom bracket reduce noise and protect the frame from impacts. Additional downtube protection provides extra protection during lift operations and transport.

In 2026, the UCI World Championships return to Val di Sole in Italy, the site where Mondraker achieved a Men's Elite Downhill triple in 2016 with Danny Hart, Laurie Greenland, and Florent Payet. The Summum will be entered to try and repeat this feat ten years later.
The Summum is Mondraker 's most successful racing bike and is a benchmark in the downhill range.
