The Garmin Edge 540 is a new generation Garmin Edge 2023 compact cycle computer. It is equipped with an identical external design to that of its brother, the Garmin Edge 840, with the same number of buttons and a screen of the same definition than its predecessor, but with a slight increase in size and a reduction in weight. Battery life is 26-32 hours in normal use and 42-60 hours in economy mode. It is equipped with five charging pins on the attachment element and a USB-C port for fast charging. The GPS chip shares the same characteristics as the Edge 1040. The Garmin Edge 540 has a revised "Climb Pro" mode that can predict the slope without following a course, provided the climb is at least 400m with a percentage of 4%. Stamina is also present to view information on the remaining energy level while you ride. The Garmin Edge 540 weighs only 80 grams.
