The Goodyear x Zipp XPLR Intermediate - 700X50C tire is designed to integrate into an innovative wheel and tire system dedicated to gravel riding. Developed specifically to be paired with the extra-wide Zipp 303 XPLR S and SW wheels, it forms a fast, stable, and comfortable combination on all types of terrain, whether dry or mixed.

Unlike traditional gravel wheel systems, which are often derived from road models, Zipp 's XPLR system takes a unique approach. It aims to reduce vibrations that fatigue the rider and impair performance on long rides. This concept improves both aerodynamics and comfort by allowing lower tire pressure thanks to an optimized rim width.

The XPLR Inter tire offers maximum versatility. Its compact center tread promotes excellent rolling speed, while the more widely spaced side knobs ensure optimal grip in corners. Its supple and lightweight casing improves steering feel, and the M:Wall reinforcements on the sidewalls add effective protection against cuts and pinch flats, even at low pressures. Finally, the bead profile has been designed for easy installation and a secure fit on Zipp TSS rims. Only approved tires are compatible with XPLR wheels.
