The LEATT RideViz Pro Photochromic Small sunglasses in clear photochromic are designed for mountain bike riders with small to medium faces who refuse to compromise between visual performance and a strong aesthetic. Thanks to their adaptive lens and full-frame design, they stand out as a riding tool that is both precise and versatile.

Optics and technologies

The lenses of these glasses are made of base 6 polycarbonate, cut into a cylindrical shape with a unique curvature. This clear photochromic treatment allows them to automatically adapt to light conditions: transparent with 90% visible light transmission (VLT) in low light, they darken to 25% VLT in bright sunlight, eliminating the need to change lenses mid-ride. The polycarbonate construction guarantees impact resistance tested to meet the demands of mountain biking in natural environments.

Field of vision and optical comfort

The RideViz Pro Small's high-profile cylindrical curvature generates a significantly wider vertical field of vision than a conventional lens. This advantage proves particularly valuable in an aggressive riding position, when the head is lowered towards the handlebars and reading the terrain demands reliable peripheral vision. The modern wraparound design complements this geometry by reducing stray light from the sides, without ever compromising central image clarity.

Frame and adjustment

The full-rim frame is made of biopolymer, a material that combines lightness and strength. It incorporates a mud-proof channel that prevents splashes and dirt from reaching the inner surface of the lens. The soft rubber temples ensure a non-slip grip even in hot or humid weather, while the adjustable nose bridge allows for a precise fit for small to medium face shapes—frame width 135 mm, lens width 128 mm, lens height 65 mm, bridge 20 mm, and temples 130 mm. The lenses are interchangeable, offering welcome flexibility should lighting conditions require it.

Contents of the box

The glasses come with a rigid protective case to safeguard the photochromic lenses during transport and storage. Note that the additional Cryztal Rose lens, included with other colors in the RideViz Pro Small range, is not included with the photochromic version, as it already provides full coverage across the entire light spectrum.
