The LEATT Velocity 4.0 MTB goggles in brushed grey clear 83 vlt were designed for mountain biking in warm weather, where airflow and visual clarity make all the difference. They combine a bulletproof lens, optimized ventilation, and long-lasting comfort, allowing you to ride without compromise from morning till night.

Screen and optics

The RideViz MTB WideVision lens offers an expanded 170° field of vision, ensuring unobstructed terrain reading. Its ballistic certification—tested to ANSI Z87.1-2015 and the MIL-DTL-43511D military impact standard—guarantees superior eye protection against impacts and debris. The permanent anti-fog treatment prevents condensation during intense activity, while the scratch-resistant coating maintains optical clarity over time. With a VLT of 83%, this clear lens is ideal for varying trail lighting conditions. Additional Velocity lenses are available separately to adapt the goggles to any situation.

Headband and comfort

The dual-layer face foam with a sweat-wicking backing ensures a soft and stable interface against the face, even on the longest rides. The 40mm MaxiVent anti-slip mesh headband keeps the goggles securely in place, while its open design allows for helmet ventilation without obstructing the vents. The Velocity 4.0 is also OTG compatible, allowing for comfortable wear over prescription glasses.

Aeration

The frame incorporates large mesh vents that optimize airflow around the face while blocking dirt, mud, and dust. The lower part of the frame features an open, self-draining design: mud doesn't accumulate on the lens and drains away naturally, preserving vision even on the muddiest terrain.
