The LEATT Velocity 4.0 MTB goggles in lime green clear 83vlt are designed for mountain biking in warm weather, where visual clarity, airflow, and eye protection make all the difference. A combination of technologies designed for comfortable riding from the first descent to the last.

Screen and optics

The RideViz MTB WideVision lens offers an expanded 170° field of vision, ensuring optimal terrain awareness in all conditions. Its bulletproof construction, certified to ANSI Z87.1-2015 and the MIL-DTL-43511D military ballistic impact standard, provides superior eye protection. A permanent anti-fog treatment and scratch-resistant coating maintain clear vision over time. With a light transmission rate (VLT) of 83%, the clear tint is ideal for low-light conditions or riding in wooded areas. Additional Velocity lenses are available separately to adapt the gear to any lighting conditions.

Headband and comfort

The dual-layer face foam features a moisture-wicking backing that keeps you comfortable during extended rides by efficiently drawing moisture away from your face. The 40mm MaxiVent non-slip mesh headband attaches securely to your helmet without obstructing the vents, ensuring optimal airflow throughout your gear. OTG (Over The Glasses) compatibility allows you to wear the goggles over prescription glasses without compromising comfort or fit.

Aeration

The Velocity 4.0 MTB's ventilated frame is designed to maximize airflow thanks to large vents covered with fine mesh. This mesh allows air to circulate freely while acting as a barrier against mud, dirt, and dust, ensuring thermal comfort even during demanding climbs. The lower part of the frame features an open, self-draining design that prevents mud from accumulating against the lens, preserving visual clarity in the wettest conditions.

Headset compatibility

Thanks to its 40mm MaxiVent anti-slip mesh headband, the Velocity 4.0 MTB integrates seamlessly with ventilated mountain bike helmets. The strap is specially designed to avoid blocking the helmet's vents, thus maintaining optimal overall ventilation regardless of the model used.
