Construction and materials

The outer shell, made of polymer composite, offers proven structural rigidity against the repeated impacts inherent in gravity riding. This is combined with impact foam molded directly into the shell, ensuring optimal energy absorption and perfect cohesion between the different protective layers. The vents are protected by a stainless steel mesh that effectively filters out debris, mud, and the elements during rides in challenging conditions.

360° Turbine Technology

At the heart of the Gravity 2.0, Leatt 's exclusive Turbine 360° technology provides a unique 3-in-1 safety system. Expertly sized "turbine" discs allow for slight relative movement of the helmet on the head upon impact, helping to reduce the maximum acceleration transmitted to the skull and brain. This system complements the impact foam to protect against low-speed impacts, high-speed impacts, and rotational forces generated during falls on varied terrain.

Ventilation

Air vents distributed throughout the shell promote continuous airflow during exertion, limiting heat buildup both on chairlifts and during long enduro rides. Each vent is covered with a stainless steel mesh that blocks dust, branches, and debris without restricting airflow.

The inner lining is designed to meet the demands of extended sessions: breathable, odor-resistant, and fully removable for easy machine washing.
