The LEATT Gravity 5.0 MTB Helmet in blue represents a major evolution in full-face protection for mountain biking. Designed for intense enduro races and bike park sessions, it combines a precise fit, excellent breathability, and complete confidence on every descent. The brand's first full-face helmet to incorporate the BOA® FS2 system, it is aimed at demanding adult riders who refuse to compromise between lightness and safety.

Construction and materials

The Gravity 5.0's shell features an ingenious two-piece design: a lightweight polymer upper shell combined with a thermoplastic carbon rear shell, which is more environmentally friendly than traditional thermosetting carbon. The chin bar is made of a robust polymer. This combination keeps the weight down to just 710g in size M, a remarkable result for a race-ready full-face helmet. The impact foam is molded directly into the shell, ensuring optimal energy absorption in the event of a crash.

360° EVO Turbine Technology

The Gravity 5.0 incorporates Turbine 360° EVO technology, the latest generation of Leatt 's proprietary protection system. It delivers unique 3-in-1 protection: protection against low-speed impacts, high-speed impacts, and rotational forces. Triple-density "turbine" discs, optimally positioned inside the helmet, allow for slight relative movement between the helmet and the head during a rotational impact, thus reducing the forces transmitted to the brain. This technology complements the impact foam for a comprehensive and cohesive protective envelope.

Ventilation

For long, physically demanding days, the Gravity 5.0 features a removable chin vent cover. This system allows you to open or close airflow depending on the conditions, and also blocks debris from entering on technical sections. The detachable visor, with its included semi-transparent extension, offers additional protection in inclement weather while reducing rotational impact forces in the event of a fall.

Comfort and fit

The Gravity 5.0 is the first full-face helmet to adopt the BOA® FS2 fit system, offering a secure 360° fit and easy-to-use, precise micro-adjustments. Dual-position cheek pads allow for a truly personalized fit to each rider's head shape. The inner lining is breathable, odor-resistant, and washable, with excellent moisture management to keep you dry throughout your ride. The closure is secured by a simple and reliable Fidlock magnetic buckle, even with gloves. The helmet is also compatible with Leatt neck braces for those who want to further enhance their gear.
