The LEATT Gravity 5.0 MTB Helmet in brown stands out as the ideal companion for demanding riders in intensive enduro and bike park riding. The first full-face helmet to incorporate the BOA® FS2 fit system, it combines precise fit, advanced breathability, and high-level protection in a perfectly balanced package.

Construction and materials

The shell is constructed in two parts: a lightweight polymer upper shell and a thermoplastic carbon rear shell, a more environmentally friendly solution than traditional thermosetting carbon. The chin bar is made of a durable polymer. This design keeps the weight down to just 710 g in size M, a remarkable achievement for a full-face helmet offering this level of protection. The impact foam is molded directly into the shell for optimal energy absorption during impacts.

360° Turbine Technology

The Gravity 5.0 features Turbine 360° EVO technology, the latest evolution of Leatt 3-in-1 protection system. Combined with impact foam, it provides effective protection against low- and high-speed impacts, as well as rotational forces. The triple-density "turbine" discs, optimally positioned inside the helmet, allow for slight relative movement between the shell and the head during an impact, significantly reducing the forces transmitted to the brain.

Ventilation

The helmet features a removable chin vent cover, allowing the rider to freely adjust airflow according to conditions: open to maximize airflow during intense activity, closed to block mud or debris spray on technical trails. A detachable semi-transparent visor is included to provide additional protection in inclement weather while reducing rotational impact forces in the event of a fall.

Comfort and fit

The integration of the BOA® FS2 system is a first in the world of full-face helmets: it guarantees a secure 360° fit with remarkably precise micro-adjustments, adapting to each rider's unique head shape. Dual-position cheek pads further refine the customization of the fit. The breathable, odor-resistant, and washable inner lining effectively wicks away moisture to maintain optimal comfort throughout your ride. The closure is secured by a Fidlock magnetic buckle, which is quick and intuitive, even with gloves. The Gravity 5.0 is also compatible with Leatt neck braces for riders seeking maximum protection.

Certifications

The LEATT MTB Gravity 5.0 Helmet is certified according to ASTM F1952–15, EN1078 and CPSC 1203 standards, guaranteeing validated protection for the practice of downhill and enduro mountain biking at the highest level.
