The BMC TM R01 FIVE 2026-2027 is a competition platform designed to push the boundaries of road aerodynamics. Developed in collaboration with Red Bull Advanced Technologies, this high-performance road bike embodies BMC 's most advanced approach to speed and aerodynamic efficiency.

The Teammachine R 01 FIVE combines cutting-edge cycling engineering with 01 Premium Carbon layup. This construction maintains a low weight while providing targeted stiffness where the rider needs it to maximize power transfer.

At the front, the Halo fork with its widened head is a distinctive feature of the bike. Its wider design helps to deflect turbulence away from the frame and stabilize airflow around the front wheel to improve overall aerodynamic efficiency. This architecture gives the Teammachine R 01 FIVE a measurable aerodynamic advantage and increased stability at high speeds.

The SHIMANO 105 Di2 electronic drivetrain ensures precise shifting and reliable braking. The cockpit, comprised of the ICS2 stem and BMC HB D4 handlebar, forms an integrated and adjustable unit. Combined with the tubeless-ready CR 50 carbon wheels, this setup is designed to maintain speed when it matters most.

The Halo design widens the fork legs to create a wider, more distinctive front end. This architecture directs turbulence away from the frame, reduces aerodynamic losses, and helps maintain a stable, usable speed.

The ICS Carbon Aero cockpit, developed with Tudor Pro Cycling, was designed to meet the demands of professional cyclists. It combines rigidity, aerodynamics, comfort, and modularity while remaining easy to assemble.

The "Mariana" bottom bracket takes its name from the deepest ocean trench. It's the deepest bottom bracket BMC has ever developed for a road bike, exposing an optimized surface area to improve airflow. This design is UCI approved.

The seatpost has been refined and lengthened to improve vertical compliance while maintaining a lightweight design. Its clamping system is more accessible and easier to maintain. It is also compatible with an integrated race number holder for competitions.
