The Trek Inbound+ 2 B 540 keeps everything that makes the belt-drive Inbound+ so appealing, a single-speed Gates Sidetrack drivetrain and a 45 Nm Bosch hub motor, but moves up to a 540 Wh PowerTube battery. It weighs 21.60 kg in size L according to Trek. Buff Beige gives it a very light sandy beige with warm highlights.

The Inbound+ 2 B 540 follows the belt-drive Inbound+ formula, a single-speed Gates Sidetrack drivetrain and a Bosch motor integrated into the rear hub, but carries a 540 Wh PowerTube battery instead of 360 Wh. Belt drive and a 540 Wh battery make a very coherent pairing for long, flat journeys: no chain to grease despite the miles, and an energy reserve that saves you plugging the bike in every evening. The assistance fades out at 25 km/h, and the single 22-tooth rear sprocket suits a steady cruising pace.
The 50 mm Bontrager E6 Hard-Case Lite tyres, with an aramid bead and reflective sidewalls, combine comfort and puncture protection. The Shimano hydraulic brakes on 180 mm rotors provide powerful braking in all weathers, and the Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand holds the bike when stopped.
