The Trek Wahoo 26 Path lets young riders from 1.46 to 1.60 m keep up with adults over real distances: big 26-inch wheels, 8 speeds and 10.20 kg according to Trek. The Alpha Silver aluminium frame comes with an alloy fork and easy-to-maintain V-brakes. Fury Red is an intense, energetic red.

For the young cyclist who wants to ride far and for a long time: Sunday rides on the quiet backcountry lanes, cycle routes on holiday, first full-day rides. For parents who want a bike light enough not to put them off.
Alpha Silver aluminium for the last bike before an adult one. The Wahoo 26 Path is the biggest in the family. Trek keeps the Alpha Silver alloy and alloy fork, but lengthens the cranks to 152 mm and the seatpost to 300 mm to keep up with fast-growing pre-teens.
| Wahoo 26 Path (this bike) | Wahoo 24 Path | Wahoo 24 Trail | |
| Frame | Alpha Silver 26 inch | Alpha Silver 24 inch | Alpha Silver 24 inch |
| Fork / brakes | Alloy, V-brake | Alloy, V-brake | Rigid, hydraulic discs |
| Tyres | Connection Comp 26x2.00 in | Connection Comp 24x2.00 in | Kenda Amrak 24x2.20 in |
| What it means | For 1.46 to 1.60 m, 10.20 kg | For 1.30 to 1.50 m, 9.80 kg | For trails, 10.50 kg |
In other words: the 26 Path weighs only 400 g more than the 24 Path, yet it fits young riders up to 1.60 m. It is the natural stepping stone to a first adult bike.
On a long ride, weight and position matter more than anything. At 10.20 kg and with 152 mm cranks in proportion to the rider's height, the Wahoo 26 Path limits fatigue and lets them stay in the saddle for several hours.
The padded saddle has a built-in mount for a Blendr rear light, and the stem is Blendr compatible too. When heading home at the end of the day or in grey weather, your child stays visible to drivers.
| Model | Wheels / child's height | Gears | Brakes | Weight |
| Wahoo 24 Path | 24 in / 1.30 to 1.50 m | 8 | V-brake | 9.80 kg |
| Wahoo 24 Trail | 24 in / 1.30 to 1.50 m | 9 | Hydraulic discs | 10.50 kg |
| Precaliber 24 suspension | 24 in / 1.30 to 1.50 m | 8 | V-brake | 11.90 kg |
| Wahoo 26 Path | 26 in / 1.46 to 1.60 m | 8 | V-brake | 10.20 kg |
Our take: at 10.20 kg for a 26-inch bike, this Wahoo is still lighter than the Precaliber 24 suspension (11.90 kg). If your child is under 1.46 m, the Wahoo 24 Path is a better fit.

LVR sizing advice Trek recommends this Wahoo 26 Path for a height of 1.46 to 1.60 m. Between 1.46 and 1.50 m, the 24-inch is still an option: a test ride settles it. Bring your child to our Béziers shop and we will compare the two on the spot.
