LEATT Velocity 4.0 MTB X-Flow Goggles — Maximum Ventilation and Bulletproof Protection for Mountain Biking

The LEATT Velocity 4.0 MTB X-Flow goggle in lager yellow clear 83 vlt pushes the boundaries of mountain bike goggles by combining the open-back feel of sunglasses with the full coverage of goggles. Designed for demanding riders in warm weather, it offers uncompromising airflow while guaranteeing clear vision and certified protection.

Screen and optics

The RideViz MTB WideVision bulletproof lens offers a generous 170° field of vision, ensuring optimal terrain awareness in all conditions. The permanent anti-fog treatment maintains visual clarity even during intense activity, while the scratch-resistant coating enhances the lens's durability. The lager yellow clear color boasts a light transmission rate (VLT) of 83%, making it ideal for rides in low light or overcast conditions. Additional Velocity lenses are available separately to customize your gear for different conditions. The lens is impact-certified to ANSI Z87.1-2015 and meets the military ballistic impact standard MIL-DTL-43511D, in compliance with PPE (EU) Regulation 2016/425.

Headband and comfort

The dual-layer, sweat-wicking face foam is intentionally minimalist to replicate the lightness and breathability of sunglasses. The streamlined frame reduces the perceived bulk on the face, enhancing comfort during long outings. The mask is OTG (Over The Glasses) compatible, allowing it to be worn comfortably over prescription glasses without compression or discomfort.

Aeration

The Velocity 4.0 X-Flow helmet features a completely open design at the top and bottom, eliminating any barriers to airflow. The self-draining lower frame facilitates the removal of dirt and moisture, even during technical rides in challenging conditions. The wide 50mm MaxiVent anti-slip mesh headband is specifically designed to avoid obstructing the helmet's vents, even when a visor covers the headband. All of these features ensure maximum ventilation, which is invaluable in warm weather.

Headset compatibility

Thanks to its 50mm MaxiVent mesh headband, the Velocity 4.0 X-Flow maintains airflow through the vents of full-face or enduro helmets, even when the headband is partially covered. This broad compatibility makes it a versatile goggle, suitable for most mountain bike helmets on the market.
