The LEATT Velocity 4.0 MTB X-Flow goggle in black/white clear stripe (83V) pushes the boundaries of ventilation in mountain bike goggles. Its fully open frame, top and bottom, combined with minimal face foam, provides a feel similar to sunglasses while offering the complete coverage of goggles. Designed for warm-weather riding, it's ideal for adult riders who refuse to compromise between protection and breathability.

Screen and optics

The RideViz MTB WideVision lens offers a 170° field of vision for uncompromising panoramic perception on the trail. With an 83% VLT (Visible Light Transmission), the clear lens allows maximum light transmission, ideal for varied or low-light conditions. The permanent anti-fog treatment maintains clear vision even during intense activity, while the scratch-resistant coating preserves optical clarity over time. The lens meets the requirements of the ANSI Z87.1-2015 ballistic protection standard and the MIL-DTL-43511D military ballistic impact standard. Additional Velocity lenses are available separately to adapt the goggles to all lighting conditions.

Headband and comfort

The 50mm MaxiVent anti-slip mesh headband ensures a secure fit on all types of helmets without ever obstructing the vents. The double layer of sweat-wicking face foam is intentionally minimal: contact with the face remains light and airy, reinforcing the feeling of wearing simple sunglasses. The streamlined design contributes to a discreet and exceptionally breathable fit, even on long rides. The medium-length (ML) size and OTG (Over The Glasses) compatibility allow the goggles to be worn comfortably over prescription glasses.

Aeration

The fully open upper and lower frames form the heart of the X-Flow concept: air circulates freely through the goggle structure and combines with the airflow generated by the helmet vents, even when the helmet is covered. The self-draining lower frame facilitates the removal of dirt and moisture accumulated in muddy conditions, preserving comfort and visibility throughout the ride.

Headset compatibility

The 50mm MaxiVent headband is specially designed to avoid blocking the vents of full-face or enduro helmets, even when the visor covers the headband. This design ensures optimal synergy between the goggles and helmet to maintain efficient airflow regardless of the gear worn.
