True to its heritage of winning the big early-season Classics, the 303 Series wheelset retains a 45mm rim height ideal for all terrains, but gains internal width to deliver superior performance and ride quality in almost every measurable situation. Road bikes are more versatile than ever, regardless of the road surface, but remain as fast as ever. With a completely redesigned rim profile and design, the Zipp 303 S wheel optimizes rider performance on this new generation of bikes. These tubeless wheels, intended for disc brake bikes, allow for wider tires at lower pressures for road or trail racing. The Zipp 303 S is one of our lightest wheelsets, optimized for class-leading aerodynamic performance with a 28mm tire but capable of running gravel tires up to 50mm wide. The 303 S Series builds on the concepts of the high-end 303 Firecrest tubeless disc wheelset to achieve greater speed through improved efficiency. To achieve this, we created a wheel that reduces these elements: wind resistance, rolling resistance, rider fatigue, and weight. The main innovation is the rim design of the 303 S Series. The 45mm rim height is the same as the previous version, the 302 disc. But the rim width has increased by 2mm to 27mm, and the tire width has increased by 7mm to 23mm. This rim is designed for speed when fitted with a 28mm tire. The wider rim optimizes the tire profile, allowing it to be inflated to a lower pressure. This reduces rolling resistance and provides a smoother ride. Compared to a similar high-end wheel, this translates to a 10% saving in the energy needed to ride 40 km/h on the flat with a 28 mm tire, according to Zipp 's internal testing. Technologies

XDR™

The XDR™ driver body is a universal mounting system for cassettes that incorporates cogs with fewer than 11 teeth. It allows for lighter and more versatile drivetrains without requiring new rear axle standards, cassette tools or hub redesigns. The XDR™ interface is 1.85mm longer than XD™ and is designed for road hub applications. XDR™ driver bodies are compatible with all XD™ cassettes when the cassette is installed with a 1.85mm spacer.

Guarantee

Zipp wheels, handlebars, stems, and seatposts are guaranteed for life against damage that occurs while riding. The lifetime warranty is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required.
