THE Mondraker Anark R 2026 is a freeride mountain bike designed for bike parks, shuttle days and challenging trails. With its full aluminum Stealth Alloy EVO frame, updated Zero Suspension kinematics and mullet build, it is designed to absorb big impacts, maintain precision in rough terrain and offer maximum fun as soon as the slope reverses.
Inspired by experience Mondraker In terms of gravity and directly influenced by the DNA of the Summum, the Anark R is not just a tamed downhill bike. It's a long-travel freeride machine, capable of going fast, jumping high, breaking away from classic lines, and turning every line into a playground.
The 2026 Anark R is for riders who want to string together laps, attack the berms, kick up some dust, and fully enjoy the bike park trails. Its robust construction, aggressive geometry, and gravity-oriented components make it a bike perfectly suited for demanding riding where fun is just as important as performance.
With its 180mm RockShox ZEB fork, its RockShox Vivid Coil Select+ shock, its drivetrain SRAM Eagle T-Type 12-speed and its brakes SRAM DB8 4-piston, the Mondraker Anark R 2026 is ready for repeated runs, rough slopes and the most intense freeride sessions.
The Anark 6061 Alloy Stealth Evo frame uses hydroformed aluminum tubing, with a construction designed to offer an excellent balance of strength, stiffness, and weight. This full aluminum design allows it to meet the demands of freeride, bike park, and the most challenging gravity riding.
Stealth Alloy EVO technology is based on 6061 aluminum with hydroformed tubes of varying thickness. The goal is to optimize the bike's stiffness, strength, and handling on fast, rough, or challenging sections.
The mullet setup combines a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel. This configuration allows for a combination of stability, obstacle clearance, and precision at the front, with a more playful and easier-to-place rear end.
Forward Geometry provides stability, control, and confidence at high speeds. It allows the Anark R to maintain an aggressive feel while remaining playful on technical slopes and freeride lines.
Integrated protection under the downtube protects the frame from impacts and facilitates quick loading during shuttle days.
The frame incorporates internal cable routing, rubber rear chainstay protectors, a Boost 12 x 148 mm rear axle, a UDH dropout, a 73 mm BSA bottom bracket, an ISCG 05 mount, and maximum capacity sealed bearings.
The updated Zero Suspension cinematic inherits the experience of the Mondraker Summum and brings to the Anark a particularly effective behavior for bike park sessions and challenging days on the trails.
The frame offers 170mm of rear travel, an ideal value for absorbing big impacts, maintaining grip in fast sections and keeping control on rough terrain.
The RockShox Vivid Coil Select+ shock in 205 x 65 mm provides the support, sensitivity, and consistency needed for freeride and bike park riding. Its coil-spring configuration is particularly well-suited to a long-travel rear suspension.
The shock absorber features low-speed compression, low-speed rebound, and spring preload adjustments. Spring rates vary depending on frame size to maintain consistent performance across the entire range.
The leverage ratio displays a 25% progression, ideal for offering sensitivity at the beginning of the stroke while maintaining good support on big impacts.
Anti-squat at sag is approximately 98%, while anti-rise reaches approximately 99.7%. These values result in a suspension that is sensitive, efficient when pedaling, and stable under braking.
The RockShox ZEB Base Rush RC 29-inch fork offers 180mm of travel. Designed for gravity riding, it provides stiffness, precision, and control on fast, steep, or rough sections.
The fork offers low-speed compression, external rebound and air preload adjustments to adapt the bike's behavior to the terrain and riding style.
The fork features a tapered steerer, a Boost 15 x 110 mm axle and a 44 mm offset.
The Anark R 2026 is available in five sizes, from S to XL, to offer consistent and suitable performance for a wide range of riders.
The chainstays remain at 445mm on all sizes in order to maintain a playful, dynamic behavior and easy placement in turns or in the air.
Geometry changes are easily made thanks to a single-bolt flip chip. This allows the bike's handling to be adjusted according to the terrain and the rider's preferences.
The geometry features a 63.5° head angle, a 346mm bottom bracket, and a 77.5° seat angle.
The rear derailleur SRAM 70 Eagle T-Type 12 speed offers a modern, robust transmission adapted to the constraints of gravity and freeride practices.
The order SRAM Trigger 70 12 speed ensures precise and reliable gear shifting, with T-Type actuation.
The cassette SRAM XS-1270 in 10-52 teeth offers a wide range of gears, useful for transitions, accelerations and pedaling sections between two descents.
The chain SRAM 70 T-Type 12 speed Flattop with PowerLock completes the transmission and ensures good consistency with the Eagle T-Type group.
The cranks SRAM 70 T-Type wheels use a DUB axle and a direct-mount chainring. The length varies depending on the bike size: 165 mm in S, M and ML, then 170 mm in L and XL.
The bike is equipped with a 32-tooth T-Type aluminum chainring, suitable for gravity and freeride use.
The case SRAM DUB BSA uses sealed bearings and a 73mm standard.
The front brake SRAM DB8 uses a 4-piston caliper, suitable for long descents and powerful braking in bike parks.
The rear brake SRAM DB8 uses the same 4-piston configuration to offer consistent power and effective control on challenging tracks.
The discs SRAM Centerline 200mm front and rear brakes provide braking power suitable for long descents, fast tracks and gravity riding.
The levers SRAM DB8 Stealth features tool-based reach adjustment and joystick pivot rings.
The rims WTB Sportterra Tough wheels made of welded 6061 aluminum offer an internal width of 30 mm. They are tubeless compatible and designed to withstand the stresses of freeriding and rough terrain.
The wheels use straight spokes WTB with black brass heads, for a robust construction consistent with the gravity use of the bike.
The front hub WTB Frequenzy Sport Boost 15 x 110 mm is machined from aluminum and compatible with a 6-hole disc mount.
The rear hub WTB Frequenzy Sport Boost 12 x 148 mm is machined from aluminium, with 6-bolt disc mount and HG freehub body.
The front tire Maxxis The Assegai 29 x 2.5 WT is tubeless compatible and uses 3C Maxx Grip rubber with a DH casing. It offers high grip, excellent cornering stability, and great confidence on technical sections.
The rear tire Maxxis The Minion DHR II 27.5 x 2.5 WT is tubeless compatible and uses a 3C Maxx Terra compound with DH+ protection. It provides traction, braking, and robustness to the rear of the bike.
The ONOFF S6 30mm stem made of 6061+ CNC forged aluminum offers a short, direct cockpit suitable for gravity riding.
The ONOFF S6 1.0 handlebar, made of 7050 aluminum, is 800 mm wide. It features an 8° backsweep, a 5° upsweep, and a 25 mm rise, with a 38 mm rise on sizes L and XL.
The ONOFF Desert Pro lock-on CNC grips measure 135 mm. Sizes L and XL feature a thicker version.
The Acros custom IS52/ZS56 headset with internal cable routing contributes to the clean and modern integration of the bike.
The X-Fusion Manic dropper seatpost with a 31.6 mm diameter allows for quick adjustment of the riding position to suit the terrain. The travel varies depending on the frame size.
The saddle Ergon Enduro SPS20 is suitable for demanding riding, with a good compromise between support, comfort and freedom of movement.
