In short: 180 Wh more than the Inbound+ 2 B for an extra 900 g (21.60 kg in L). If you like the idea of a maintenance-free belt but ride beyond the town centre, this is the version to go for.

The routes to the coast are flat but exposed to the wind: the Bosch hub motor provides steady support, and the 540 Wh leaves a margin if the ride home is into a headwind. Assistance tops out at 25 km/h, a pleasant pace for a relaxed ride. The belt, for its part, isn't bothered by sand or salty air.

Our take: for flat rides to the sea, the B 540 offers 180 Wh more than the Inbound+ 2 B for 900 g. If the hinterland calls, the R10 (600 Wh, ten gears, 22.60 kg) is better suited to hills.
